Morphology

Morphology-wise, the Orian language is pretty much uncomplicated, with a minimum viable set of rules that are easy enough to memorize and learn.

Derivational morphology[edit]

Word derivations are usually compounds, made by joining two words/concepts to form a new word/concept. In the derivation process, the second word loses its first syllable(s), and the first word loses its last syllable(s) (in some cases).

In a third scenario, the last syllable from the first word and the first syllable from the second word are combined into a single syllable.
